The ledger

Marble slurry recovered
310 tonnes

Cutting slurry dewatered and sent to tile and cement makers instead of landfill.

Stone offcut reused
61%

Small offcut goes into coasters, inlay and tealight blocks rather than skips.

Artisan payments made
₹9.8 crore

Paid directly to individual bank accounts, no cash, no intermediaries.

Median earnings vs. local minimum
+38%

For hours actually worked, measured across all four clusters.

Kiln fuel that is LPG or briquette
72%

Terracotta kilns run on cleaner fuel, not raw wood; flue heat is recovered for drying.

Trainees brought in
260

Paid a full stipend through a twelve-week training period.

What we do not claim

We are not carbon neutral. We have not offset anything. Sea freight and kiln firing are the two largest lines in our footprint and no amount of handwork cancels them out.

We do not call unglazed terracotta “all natural” and leave it there. The glazes, sealers and lacquers are on the spec sheet, and so is every additive.

What we will stand behind: the payment records, the slurry and offcut tonnages, and the artisan count. Those are auditable, and we would rather be held to three real numbers than twenty decorative ones.
